If the daily number of crossings is too much for the existing bridges to accommodate, a more pragmatic solution for the government to consider would be to embrace remote work and cut down on the number of federal employees who needlessly cross from Ontario to Quebec every day. This bridge would be a multi billion dollar alternative to a free solution that we already know works.
