I strongly support the proposed Eastern Bridge connecting Ottawa and Gatineau. This project would improve connectivity across the National Capital Region, reduce congestion on existing crossings, provide a more efficient transportation network, and improve access to employment and essential services on both sides of the river. With the continued growth of the region, an additional crossing represents an important long-term investment in mobility, economic development, and regional resilience. I support moving forward with this important infrastructure project and, where possible, accelerate its implementation.
