While I recognize the problems with truck traffic through the centre of Ottawa, I fail to see how moving the crossing

9 km down the road through a different residential neighbourhood will solve the problem. Since the previous assessment was done about 15 years ago, the population density has increased, with more condo towers currently being built and more planned for according to the City of Ottawa mandate to build around LRT stations.  The intersection of Ogilvie and Aviation Parkway, and Montreal Rd and Aviation is very busy intersections even now.  

On the map, it appears that number of lanes on the Aviation Parkway can be easily increased, if one wants to impinge on more wetlands. The problem then arises at the intersection of Montreal Rd, on the corner of the Montfort Hospital where ambulances, fire trucks and many  pedestrians, including those using mobility devices, compete.

 Why a major truck route is planned on the corner of a hospital site makes no sense to me.  Then there is the access to the Aviation and Space museum, Marina , shared pathways, the RCMP stable and River House.  I have to question if  anyone on the Commission has ever walked or driven the route. 

The proposed bridge will ruin one of the most beautiful areas of our city, not to mention endangering the lives of those living in the area (much as it does downtown). 

As a resident of 905 Beauparc Pvt, this bridge will directly impact my family, and I would be remiss if I did not express my opinion.
