This should have been done 10 years ago.

The impact is very minimal on the Ontario side because it's following an existing corridor (Aviation Pwy) which has a wide buffer and banked by many mature trees with very little adjacent residential development. There should only be connections at Ogilvie Rd, Montreal Rd, possibly Hemlock Rd and Sir George Etienne Cartier Pwy. This would greatly relieve the truck congestion down town Ottawa.

On the Quebec side, Montee Paiemant was widen to 4 lanes 15 years ago to accommodate the traffic flow to Hwy 50.

I live in Manor Park and do not agree with my neighbours who have the mind set (Not in My Back Yard).
