Water Distribution Expansion Project, Sable Island National Park Reserve
This is a non-designated project on federal lands or outside Canada. The listed authorities are responsible for the project assessment.
The proposed work is to expand the Main Station water distribution system to provide water to the Carpentry Shop and the Garage. The project will improve operational efficiency, provide dedicated handwashing and cleaning option within the Carpentry Shop, and re-establish water service to the Garage for vehicle washing. The proposed work includes installation of water supply lines from Visitors Quarters (Vis Q), a utility sink and on demand water heater in the Carpentry Shop, a small wastewater disposal system for sink drainage, and a heated enclosure to protect pressure-washing equipment in the Garage during winter operations.
