New Nuclear at Wesleyville Project
Nuclear is a BIG waste of money

I agree with the Ontario Clean Air Alliance and others. New nuclear does not make sense. It is inflexible, centralized, out-of-market generation. Renewables and battery energy storage are the lowest cost and fastest-to-deploy supply alternatives. The additional advantage of public, competitive procurements is that the taxpayer/ratepayer is not stuck footing the bill when the business case for nuclear collapses. We are still hungover from $13B of debt for the current fleet of reactors. The world has changed. Look up and reject this waste of money.
