Foolish to invest super expensive nuclear energy

Why are we making ourselves more dependent on unreliable US products. Once we commit ourselves to building US technology nuclear plants they could become subject to US tariffs.
Also why don't the authorities recognize the cheaper green energy products. Are the oil companies or American nuclear energy people financing this mistaken initiative?- Submitted by
