Submission - Public Comments on Atura Power's Proposed Riverside Generating Station (CKSPFN/Three Fires Group)

Please find below the Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation’s comments on Atura Power’s proposed Riverside Generating Station, submitted through the Three Fires Group Consultation Office. Our submission reflects the Nation’s preliminary review of the Initial Project Description and highlights key concerns related to cumulative air quality effects, greenhouse gas emissions, and the ongoing duty to consult under Section 35 of the Constitution Act. We respectfully request that these comments be entered into the public registry and considered in the development of the Summary of Issues for the project.
