Potential environmental disaster

The narrow Chignecto Isthmus is a critical place for biodiversity. It has tidal marshes and rivers as well as freshwater marshes. The isthmus is the only land bridge that allows for the movement and migration of land mammals between Nova Scotia & New Brunswick including endangered moose (NS) and lynx (NB). Migratory birds along the Atlantic Flyway cross this isthmus every year.

This is environmentally the wrong place for a methane-burning generating station and millions of litres of back-up diesel fuel. This project is a potential environmental disaster of massive proportion.
