Impact Assessment

I believe the consultation process was strategically very limited and must include all communities along the 1700 km transportation route. We are supposed to reduce our carbon footprint not increase it substantially while putting us all at unnecessary risk. I am very concerned with the big movement towards nuclear power for these huge data Al centers that this will only compound these issues since this is labeled as Canada's dumping site. I am only too familiar with extremely lengthy highway closures along this route . I can only imagine what this will look like being highly radioactive waste. I understand this process is being implicated in Finland but to date this is not a proven option we can consider as there is no track record to date. I believe our environment deserves better.
