The proper impact studies including transportation need to be done as well as proper information meetings held with the communities who will live in proximity to the storage areas and that live along the transportation route. Full stop.
I live along the route and this is the first time I am hearing about this, and not from the government or news but from a local climate group.
Shameful.
yet the Ontario government is upping nuclear production with no good plan for the waste that lasts hundreds of years
