DGR in Northwestern Ontario

The proposed DGR in Northwestern Ontario is an experiment.  It's never been done anywhere before so when NWMO declares transportation of high-level nuclear waste  to the Revell River site is safe and no radiation will leak from the transports hauling it, there is no science or precedence to back that declaration.  Likewise with the statements that containers are indestructible and groundwater won't be contaminated.  It's folly to offer those assurances when this is a first time project.  The assessment needs oversight, preferably by a panel.  I believe the province is already bias in favour of the DGR.
