Transportation Issues

The proposed movement of radioactive waste through or near municipalities over multiple decades is an integral component of the proposed project and it presents potential serious threats to public safety, emergency preparedness and the environment. As such, the scope of the federal impact assessment must include all proposed transportation activites and associated impacts.  The proponent appears to have had unlimited funding to create and submit their proposal.  Equal funding to critique their proposal should be made available to ennvironmental or other stakeholder groups that wish to provide a fullsome review of the proposed project.
