Deep Geological Repository (DGR) for Canada's Used Nuclear Fuel Project
Don’t Do It

- Text
The creation of materials that are dangerous to life over a time span so, so much longer than recorded history is full of hubris and folly. Transporting the waste across thousands of miles and then burying it in pristine wilderness forever severly compounds the grevous error.
Rather invest heavily in research on how to make it inert and keep the waste where it was used to create the power until the research has found a solution. Best phase out nuclear power until that time so that further toxic waste does not pile up.
