Nuclear waste site repository

I do have concerns about the safe, transportation of nuclear fuel on Ontario highways.

Continuously we see road closures due to accidents.

We hear about doing mega projects in Canada, but nothing is done about 20 this highway from the Manitoba border towards southern Ontario.

We have lost people that we have known that have lived in our community that have died on the highways and accidents.

In an era where we have trade relation issues with the Americans.

Many different aspects of the cost of living crisis.

Among all the other crisis like the drug crisis.

Underfunded healthcare.

Food insecurities.

Education insecurities

Just to name a few, we feel it was reckless to transport nuclear waste onto these dangerous roads.

We are not in favour of the repository and transferring material on our highways.

We also do have concerns with radioactive accidents and contamination feeding into the watersheds.
