Good afternoon ,
Firstly allow me to identify who I am and why I am writing to you . I am the current president of the Lake St. George and Lake St. Andrew’s Cottage Association .
Our friends and neighbours from Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation have kindly shared with us this information regarding the proposed peat harvesting project at Sugar Creek .
Our purpose in writing to you today is to fully support the concerns which they have made very clear . We don’t believe that this volume of peat harvesting should be allowed in this environmentally sensitive area .
