Construction of 7 incinerators in the health districts of Ouangolodougou, Kong and Ferkessédougou in the Tchologo Region of Ivory Coast

The ACT-FEMME project aims to increase the empowerment of women and adolescent girls in vulnerable situations in the Tchologo region. It contributes to the improvement of their sexual and reproductive health and mother and child health. The project is funded by the Canadian government through Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and implemented by ACF (Action Against Hunger). The project includes the construction of 7 incinerators for better medical waste management.

November 15, 2022 - Global Affairs Canada issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
