Camp Canada Power Distribution Upgrade, Operation IMPACT - Camp Canada, Ali Al-Salem Air Base, Kuwait

The Canadian Task Force on Operation IMPACT in Kuwait will upgrade the power distribution network at Camp Canada. This will include the construction of a Primary Distribution Unit, Secondary Distribution Unit , and Tertiary Distribution Unit, the installation of the electrical distribution lines necessary to tie into the existing power grids. All of this will require excavation and preparation of the ground for trenches and cable runs.

January  10, 2022— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
