KM 140.3 East Cache Creek Culvert Replacement

requires upgrades to the existing culvert at Alaska Highway Km 140.3 which is corroded, significantly undersized and requires immediate replacement. These upgrades will include:

 · Installation of a 2800 mm diameter steel pipe culvert using trenchless culvert installation technologies, grouting the void space between the existing 1400 mm diameter corrugated steel pipe (CSP) and 900 mm diameter steel pipe culvert;

· Construction of concrete headwalls and installation of erosion protection (riprap) at the inlet and outlet of the culverts; and,

· Construction of an outlet pool and installation of fish baffles within the proposed 2800 mm diameter steel pipe culvert to aid fish passage through the culvert.
