Permits

The Government of Canada is committed to ​improving the efficiency and predictability of regulatory processes ​and to expediting decisions on permits and other authorizations so that projects ​can get built faster while ​advancing reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and maintaining strong environmental protections.

Below is a dashboard for the project displaying progress against the ​target​s set out in the Cabinet Directive on Regulatory and Permitting Efficiency for Clean Growth Projects, and the status of individual authorizations and permits​ needed for the project to start construction.
