IAA Early Engagement process

The IAA Early Engagement process for BHFN, has been inadequate. The timeline for us is shorter, as we were not fully aware of the IAA process and we were not consulted with until the timeline was almost over. This was not sufficient time for us to become familiar with the new processes, as we were not aware of them at all, then informed that the date for comment was approaching without having had any communication . This was disappointing. The timelines are far too short, and due to capacity issues within our First Nation, we are unable to provide an informed response on documents put forth.
