Dear Reviewers,

 Given that:

1. Canada has entered a climate emergency as declared by are parliament

2. The UN has stated that global emissions must drop 7.6% per annum to avoid catastrophic climate change

3. A previous study underestimateed the impacts of an LNG development on wild salmon

4. Parts of the arctic are melting 70 years sooner than scienists earlier predicted

5. Fracking, which is the source of LNG is responsible for earthquakes, methane release and water contamination and

6. Renewables are now beating natural gas economically as a fuel for electricity generation

I'm wondering why you are even considering this proposal. This madness must stop.

Sincerely, Mike Fletcher.
