Reminder: Request for Review of Proponent Responses to IRs for Central Ridge Exploration Drilling Project

Leslie,

Still awaiting confirmation on ECCC-02, but everything else looks complete. With respect to ECCC-02, I don’t foresee any issues, however. ECCC’s expertise only covers the potential weather/climatic conditions that the drilling unit, and not the engineering design that might be required to withstand those conditions. Having identified the potential for rogue waves, and having it confirmed that they will be given consideration in the certification of the drilling units has been the way this type of question has been handled in previous projects and seems appropriate in this case.

Let me know if you wish to discuss further.

Thanks Michael. Let me know if you have any questions. The very last one, ECCC-02 may require some discussion.

Leslie,

No conformity issues. Working on comments, although things are sometimes a little slow. I’ll try to confirm timing later on this week.

Hi Michael,

Just checking in on the technical review of the IR responses for Central Ridge. We assume there were no conformity issues with the responses. Please let me know if you have any questions as you are working through the technical review or if you anticipate any problems with getting back to us this week.

Thanks,

Leslie
