Atlantic Gold, now an Australian Corporation called St Barbara; has displayed lack of care to wildlife and they are willing to break the law. They are currently in court for 32 violations of the weak NS Environmental Act. Corporations treat getting caught as an expense.

Historical gold mining from our three gold rushes has caused damage to our environment, so much it has been understudied. We have some of the highest cancer rates in our country. That needs to be studied before politicians let a bunch of investors fly into our province and plan future projects.

Lastly gold is underpriced considering our inflating money supply. Canada is a country with no reserves, while others are accumulating. It is rare and the most useful metal. What is left in this province is low grade and should be kept for future generations.
