Mikmaw Ecological Knowledge Study for 15 Mile Stream gold mine project area

November 9th 2022 some of my colleagues attended an open house hosted by St. Barbara in Sheet Harbour for the 15 Mile Stream Gold Mine Project.  The open house highlighted major changes to this project which I have not seen shared publicly prior to this open house.  When asked, staff said details were mailed out to locals but locals I since talked to have not seen any of this information. 

When asked about the attached Mi'kmaw Knowledge Study proponet staff stated the 2018 study was now to old and they will now be working with Millbrook First Nation on a new study.  I want to make sure this study is not dismissed as it is certainly still relivent and I feel St. Barbara simply did not like the results of the study so they dismissed it.
