Decision will lead to community devastation

The proposed location absolutely does not make sense as it's going to be in midst of the growing residential community and far from the highways, putting the environmental and economical load (taxes) on the town population. The town is one of destinations for visitors from Toronto so putting major railway hub will hit not only locals but the City itself. Economically, it will create a limited number of jobs compared to the small and medium sectors in the area so will benefit only the CN itself. I live close to the existing railway and have to close my windows most of the times. With the hub in place, the railway come to our backyards and the senior housing nearby. It will literally kill the lives of the community. If this lobbyist promoted project is going to be approved, it will only prove we're cheated as you cannot grow the residential community in absolute proximity to major logistical complex. It's a failure in planning, allowing environmental disaster to happen in no time. During the times most people work from home, people will have to deal with the worst impacts anyone can imagine in the backyard of their homes thanks to CN and political lobbyists supporting the approval.
