The Government of Canada is committed to improving the efficiency and predictability of regulatory processes and to expediting decisions on permits and other authorizations so that projects can get built faster while advancing reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and maintaining strong environmental protections.
Below is a dashboard for the project displaying progress against the targets set out in the Cabinet Directive on Regulatory and Permitting Efficiency for Clean Growth Projects, and the status of individual authorizations and permits needed for the project to start construction.
Permitting for this project started before the Cabinet Directive was released therefore progress is not displayed against the targets in the Directive.
