The Proposed Project

The Port of Montreal is planning the expansion of Terminal 98-100 in Montréal-Est (Lot 1,251,216). In preparation for this project, regrading on the embankment along Notre-Dame Street and redevelopment of the drainage ditch located south of the embankment are planned.

The site development work will include the preparation of the new storage area, including grading and paving of the surface. Once completed, the area will be operated by Logistec for the handling of general cargo and dry bulk materials, as a continuation of the activities already carried out on the adjacent Terminal 98-100 properties that it has occupied since the early 2000s.

In general, the planned work can be summarized as follows:

  • Grading and paving of the new storage and cargo-handling area;
  • Redevelopment of the existing drainage system serving the site.

Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2026 and may continue until May 2027.
