Tobique Phases 6-7 Subdivision Development - Public Comments Invited

September 18, 2026 - Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Tobique Phases 6-7 Subdivision Development project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The proposed project will include the development of approximately 5.1 ha to facilitate the development of 26 residential building lots for future home construction. Activities include clearing, grubbing, and grading of the development area, new roadways, ditches, and stormwater culvert features to direct surface water runoff from the new development in the Phases 6-7 ditch system. Lots will be serviced by infrastructure that was previously installed along Pokianimus Lane during previous phases of the project.
