The Proposed Project

The Calgary Airport Authority is proposing the development and construction of a new multi-use industrial facility housed in a building with a size of approximately 125,000 square feet (the "facility") which is proposed to be located on a 14 acre site at the southeast intersection of McCall Way NE and 78 Avenue NE in Calgary, Alberta. The area intended to be developed for the facility is currently comprised of vacant disturbed land, within the existing airport footprint and bounded by an existing roadways and a taxiway. The facility is intended to be multi-use. The building will accommodate aviation training activities as well as de-icing activity.  The Canada Infrastructure Bank has committed financing for development of the facility.
