The Proposed Project
The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. DND is proposing to upgrade the perimeter security infrastructure at 22 Wing North Bay through the repair, replacement, and installation of perimeter fencing and access gates. The proposed fence and associated gates will generally follow the perimeter of the 22 Wing property.
Construction activities will include vegetation clearing and grubbing, fence and gate replacement and installation, culvert works where required, and the removal of existing three-wire fencing components and installation of concertina wire at select buildings and gates to maintain perimeter security and continuity.
Project areas disturbed by construction activities will be restored throughout.
