Notice of Commencement of an Impact Assessment

Ottawa — September 1, 2026 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) has commenced an impact assessment pursuant to the Impact Assessment Act for the Ontario Pumped Storage Hydropower Project.

IAAC has issued the following documents to the proponent to guide the development of the Impact Statement and the conduct of the impact assessment for the project:

• Tailored Information and Studies Guidelines
• Indigenous Engagement and Partnership Plan
• Public Participation Plan
• Cooperation Plan
• Detailed Permitting Plan
