Notice of time limit resumption

Ottawa — August 4, 2026 — On July 20, 2026, Trekor Metals Limited (the proponent) provided its response to the key issues within federal jurisdiction described in the joint summary of issues and engagement for the Yellowhead Copper Project (the project) to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC). On July 22, 2026, IAAC determined that this document contains sufficient information to inform its section 16 decision regarding whether an impact assessment is required. The proponent thereby completed the activity for which it requested that the time limit be suspended on October 9, 2025, and the 180-day time limit has resumed as of July 22, 2026.

The 180-day time limit is the period of time within which IAAC must provide the proponent with a notice of the commencement of the impact assessment.
