Eskay Creek Revitalization Project
Notice of updated decision statement
Ottawa — July 24, 2026 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) has published an administrative update to the decision statement for the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project. Eskay Creek Mining Limited proposed to relocate the planned permanent camp from the Tom Mackay Storage Facility area to a newly established mine camp area. This new area includes the already permitted km46 advanced exploration camp along the Eskay Creek mine access road, which would be minimally changed and used as the permanent camp. This project change would create negligible physical changes to the environment.
To ensure that the existing conditions in the decision statement continue to apply to the mine camp area changes, the project description (Schedule 1) and the definition of the designated project area (Condition 1.11) have been updated.
