YMX – Aircraft hangar construction and tarmac extension at Mirabel – Public Comment Period 

July 16, 2026 - ADM Aéroports de Montréal must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ADM Aéroports de Montréal is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

ADM Aéroports de Montréal is planning the construction of two aircraft hangars and the extension of a tarmac in collaboration with Syscomax. The project is located on Henry-Giffard Street in YMX on lots 1 689 783 and 5 326 341. The hangars will have an area of approximately 5570 m2, including office space, and will be used for aircraft maintenance operations and flight test preparation activities.
