2026-06-25 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada must determine whether the proposed Valley Fiber Limited Radiocommunication Tower project, located on Fairford First Nation Reserve No. 50 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
Valley Fiber Limited is proposing a new 59 metre radiocommunication tower located on the Fairford First Nation Reserve No. 50. The tower will be built to improve network access of high-speed internet to the community's businesses and members. It will include guy-wire anchors and two sets of four-sector antennas. In the future, the tower may have other antennas and other radiocommunication equipment added or replaced.
