Notice of Determination

Ottawa International Airport – May 20th 2026 – The Ottawa International Airport Authority (OIAA) and NAV Canada have determined that the proposed NAV CAN camera mast is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The Ottawa International Airport Authority has reviewed the comment received during the public participation period. The concerns raised were carefully considered in the determination process. Following this review, it was confirmed that the project will not give rise to the environmental impacts identified in the comment. A determination has been made that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The Ottawa International Airport Authority (OIAA) and NAV Canada are satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

Therefore, the Ottawa International Airport Authority (OIAA) and NAV Canada will carry out the project, exercise any power, perform any duty or function, or provide financial assistance to enable the project to be carried out in whole or in part.
