The Proposed Project

The proposed subdivision is located on Homalco Indian Reserve No. 9 (IR 9), situated west of the City of Campbell River and east of the Campbell River Airport and the Inland Island Highway (Highway 19). The development is proposed for lands within Homalco IR 9 that are located south of Neuman Creek. Access to the subdivision will be provided through existing community roads and the current Neuman Creek bridge crossing. Site servicing will include the construction of internal roads, stormwater and wastewater management systems, water supply infrastructure, and power and telecommunications services. Phase 1 of the project is planned to comprise approximately 70 residential lots.

The proponent has applied to Indigenous Services Canada for funding for this project.
