Notice of time limit extension

Ottawa, Ontario — March 9, 2026 — On March 5, 2026, the Minister of the Environment, Climate Change and Nature extended the time limit for her decisions on the environmental assessment of the project by 90 days, pursuant to subsection 27(3) of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (CEAA 2012).

The environmental assessment decisions under subsection 52(1) of CEAA 2012 must be made at the latest by June 10, 2026.
