Notice of Updated Decision Statement

Ottawa — February 25, 2026 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) has published an updated Decision Statement for the Eskay Creek Revitalization Project to correct an error in two of the conditions. 

Conditions 3.3 and 3.4 contained an error in the timing requirements for developing follow-up programs. Both conditions required the proponent to develop follow-up programs "prior to construction." However, this text has been changed to "within three months of the start of construction", which is the correct timing requirement.
