G3 Canada Limited, a Canadian company, is requesting financing from FCC for the demolition of existing infrastructure and construction of the new grain terminal located at 2615 Notre-Dame Street, Trois-Rivières, (Port of Trois-Rivières), Quebec. The project activities include the demolition of existing infrastructure, preparing the site for construction, foundation work, construction of a new grain terminal, and installation of associated equipment. The required infrastructure will include water management, treatment facilities, material stockpiles, waterbody diversion or realignment, bridges and culverts, energy supply source, access roads and routes, fences and barriers. The site will have high-capacity ship loaders, steel storage bins, truck unloads, and conveyor system. Demolition was completed in 2025, with expected construction occurring until September 2027.
Farm Credit Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the subject project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, FCC is inviting public comments until March 12th, 2026 respecting that determination.
