Notice of intent to make a determination

ATCO Gas Main Installation for NEDA Commercial Stage 1, Millennium Phase 1, and Community Recovery Center – Public Comments Invited

February 9, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the ATCO Gas Main Installation for NEDA Commercial Stage 1, Millennium Phase 1, and Community Recovery Center located on Enoch Cree Nation reserve lands is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

ATCO is proposing the installation of below-ground natural gas distribution pipe to service NEDA Commercial Stage 1, Millennium Phase 1 and the Community Recovery Center at Enoch Cree Nation.
