Cowansville Institution - Draining of Sludge from Lagoons – Public Comments Invited

May 28, 2021 – The Correctional Service of Canada must determine whether the proposed project Cowansville Institution - Draining of Sludge from Lagoons in Cowansville, Quebec is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Correctional Service of Canada is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment.

Removal of sludge from wastewater treatment lagoons, dewatering, and final management/disposal through proper recovery/land spreading and/or burial methods.
