Beaver Creek Institution - New/Existing Pump Station Upgrade – Public Comments Invited

November 11, 2020 – The Correctional Service of Canada must determine whether the proposed project Beaver Creek Institution - New/Existing Pump Station Upgrade located in Gravenhurst, Ontario is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Correctional Service of Canada is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment.

The Proposed Project

Aging sanitary infrastructure requires replace and replacement in various locations throughout the reserve.  A new sanitary pumping station with redundancy will be constructed outside the perimeter fence and the existing sanitary pumping station inside the perimeter fence will be decommissioned.
