Notice of Determination

Surrey,  B.C. – September 23, 2025 – The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has determined that the proposed Distribution logistics facility located at 10566 Scott Road, Surrey BC is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects

The determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

  • Impacts on rights of Indigenous peoples
  • Indigenous knowledge
  • Technically and economically feasible mitigation measures

The project was posted to the Canadian Impact Assessment Registry on November 7, 2024 for public comment. No comments were submitted.

Mitigation measures and/or permit conditions taken into account in making the determination include:

  • The requirement to adhere to an archaeological chance find procedure
  • The requirement to adhere to the Port Authority's non-road diesel emissions program
  • The requirement to provide an updated erosion and sediment control plan

The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
