YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport – Extension of Taxiway M – Public Comment Period

December 12, 2025 - ADM Aéroports de Montréal must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ADM Aéroports de Montréal is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The project involves extending Taxiway M to the main apron. This taxiway runs parallel to Taxiway B, which services the North Runway (06L-24R), and its extension to connect it to the apron and Taxiways I and E will improve operational fluidity at YUL.

The project will be carried out in 2 phases:

• The first section from the apron to Taxiway I is scheduled to be in operation by the end of 2026.
• The second section from Taxiway I to Taxiways E and M is scheduled to be operational for the summer of 2027.
