The Proposed Project

This project involves the full replacement of an existing fuel storage tank located inside the generator room at the David Florida Laboratory. The current tank has been identified as non-compliant with federal regulations. The scope includes replacing the tank and reviewing all associated system components such as piping, venting, and ancillary equipment to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. Corrective actions will address deficiencies related to emergency venting, spill containment, emergency planning, secondary containment, fill connections, spill containers, shear valves, fusible links, certified hoses, and vent piping requirements.
