Notice of Time Limit Resumption

Ottawa — October 22, 2025 — On October 10, 2025, EVR Operations Limited (the proponent) provided its Response to the Summary of Issues and Detailed Project Description for the Fording River Extension Project (the project) to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC). On October 20, 2025, IAAC determined that these documents contain sufficient information to inform its section 16 decision regarding whether an impact assessment is required. The proponent thereby completed the activity for which it requested that the time limit be suspended on November 19, 2020, and the 180-day time limit has resumed as of October 20, 2025.

The 180-day time limit is the period of time within which IAAC must provide the proponent with a notice of the commencement of the impact assessment, if IAAC decides that an impact assessment of the Project is required.
