Notice of Updated Decision Statement

Ottawa — October 10, 2025 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) has published an updated Decision Statement for the Milton Logistics Hub Project (the project), following a notice of change submitted by the Canadian National Railway Company (CN) on August 5, 2025.

CN proposed a change to the material of the project's fire water tank, from steel to fiber-reinforced plastic. IAAC reviewed the proposed change and determined that it would result in negligible potential for adverse effects within federal jurisdiction.

To ensure that the existing conditions in the Decision Statement continue to apply to the fire water tank, Condition 1.8, which defines the designated project, has been updated to reflect the change in tank material.
