Asphalt and Concrete Walkway Repairs – Public Comments Invited

August 28, 2025 – The authority must determine whether the proposed Asphalt and Concrete Walkway Repairs, located in Ottawa, ON is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the authority is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Remove and replace asphalt and concrete hardscape walkways throughout the Booth Street Grounds surrounding 580 and 588 Booth Street. Areas have been highlighted in the latest Accessibility Audit. Consultant is to investigate existing subgrade and preserve granular material where possible. Ensure that new walkways meet the latest CSA B651 accessibility standards for slope, width and access. Approximately 400m2 of asphalt to be replaced.
